1. Punctuality
One of my number one rules to approaching work, and life in general, is to NEVER be late. Every project I work on takes a team and time, which costs money, so I make sure to arrive early or at the very least on time.
2. Professional
Being professional on a job and with a client is crucial in my line of work. To me that means preparing for a job, arriving on time with my necessary tools, and always being attentive to the job at hand.
3. Prepared
I always arrive prepared for a job. I research the client prior to ever stepping on set, and I bring my own cleaned tools and anything else that I foresee being needed on set.
4. Performance
I take much pride in my work, no matter what it is. This is the way I was brought up and it translates into my work. I know that if I want to work with a client again, my work has to be exceptional and I constantly strive for that.
5. Polished
My job is to make others look put-together and presentable. I believe that the way I present myself should reflect that. No matter how busy I am, wearing a styled outfit and hair on set is important to me.
6. Personal
This industry is very personal. I work with many different personalities and I love talking with people about their own stories. When I work with a client and the talent, my goal is to establish a great working relationship, and I achieve that by being personal and personable. (Pictured here with Miss Georgia USA 2006)
7. Pretty
Everything that I do while on a job, I strive to make pretty - the talent, my appearance, my attitude. Making sure the talent looks great is in my job description, but having a great attitude is just as important. I love what I do and my attitude reflects it.
8. Personality
For those of you who already know me, you know that I have a fun personality. For those who I have not had the privilege of working with yet, I am a professional, but I also love to converse with the team and have a great time on the job as well.
Oh, and one additional P:
9. Perfectly Positive
